A Not So Golden Night

The Utah Jazz took a commanding 3-1 Series lead on Sunday Night with a 115-101 over the Golden State Warriors. Utah used a 40 point fourth quarter effort to defeat the Warriors on their home court, something that had not been done all post-season. Golden State needed just six games to defeat the number one seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first round. A big reason for Golden State's post season success has been their ability to shoot the three. Last night however, Golden State launched 39 attempts only connecting on 12. The explanation for such a low percentage? Bad shots. With Don Nelson's free-flowing, jack-it-up offensive style the Warriors can easily fall into the trap of settling for contested threes. As the world saw last night....if you live by the three, you will die by the three. This series is done, Utah will close it out in 5.
