Suns Even the Series 2-2

The Phoenix Suns evened their series with the San Antonio Spurs last night with a 104-98 victory. The Spurs continued their physical assault on MVP candidate Steve Nash. A Robert Horry forearm with only seconds remaining sent Nash flying into the scorers table. The Spurs have taken on a physcial and borderline dirty identity, reminding some of the "Bad Boy" Detroit Pistons of the 80's. One would think that Horry would be suspended for his game five tactics. Bruce Bowen has had several questionable fouls this is series- one one Amare Stoudemire and the other on Steve Nash. While playoff basketball usually brings a heightened itensity on the defensive end of the floor, the Spurs are walking a fine line of being flat-out cheap. I can't see David Stern sitting back and watching a posterboy point guard Steve Nash being continaully beat up by San Antonio. As for the series, give me the Spurs in six. Defensive oriented teams always find a way to grind out close games in the playoffs, this should be no exception.
